The larger ferrule is 3 1/4 inches in length and has an inside diameter of approximately 1/2 of an inch. The smaller ferrule is 1 3/4 inches in length and has an inside diameter of approximately 7/16 of an inch. It is made out of chrome plated metal and is made to last. One application would be to make your custom made fishing rod into a 2-piece rod fitting the female ends over the fishing rod blank and then the male end fits into the female end to connect the 2 pieces of fishing rod together.
