I heard about this product via a few YouTubers who had differing opinions. I was intrigued and wanted to give it a shot, so I picked the very nice looking “Nude Allude” shade to start. It has a curious oxymoronic name, “Pro Matte Gloss”, but once you apply it, the name makes sense as it applies and feels like a gloss, yet it is not glossy at all! The finished appearance is fairly matte, yet it doesn’t feel drying on the lips, and it actually wears well throughout the day. It’s definitely not transfer-proof, though blotting helps it stay put better. One application lasts 4-6 hours for me and will survive a bit of drinking and careful eating. The color doesn’t settle into cracks, and stays pretty uniform on the lips as it gradually fades. Nude Allude is lovely for regular use- darkens my lips a bit and gives them a rosy freshness. It’s not real dark, just adds some color, and it’s a balanced tint that is not orange, not blue and not too pink. I like the scent but I can see why others might not; it’s a very sweet, cookie-like scent, but also a bit chemical-y. The doe-foot applicator is really nice! It’s mostly flat to spread the product around quickly, but has a good pointed tip to get around the edges of your lips with ease. The tube is a fun shape with a soft-touch plastic cap that feels nicer than glossy plastic. Overall I really enjoy this product, so much so, that I’ve since bought two more colors.
