T-DRILL TEC-150 HD collaring machine built in 2016 in Finland for the precise machining of tubes with a maximum diameter of 406 mm within a single workstation. The machining process consisting of three cycles (pilot hole milling, collar forming, collar cutting) is performed fully automatically via a touchscreen control panel, saving valuable time. During machining, a special centring device establishes the position of the pilot hole in the correct place on the pipe, while a support holds it in the required position during the performed operation. All this makes the T-DRILL TEC 150 collaring machine the right choice for precision collar forming in tubes made of e.g. aluminium, stainless steel and copper.
